Four Oakland Bears teams make
NORCAL!
The Oakland Bears Junior Hockey club is proud to announce that
four of our teams made it to the Nor-Cal playoffs this year. Our great
coaching staff and dedicated players, parents and managers made for a very
successful season for the Bears.
With our Squirt A team placing first, our Squirt B
team tying for second and being placed third by goal
differential, PeeWee B making the playoffs ranked fourth with the same
point count and percentage as San Jose, the future in
Oakland is bright.
Congratulations to our Squirt A, Squirt B, PeeWee's, and
Midget's for their great showing through out the NorCal season and on
into the playoffs.
Oakland Bears Squirt A
team advances to States!
The Oakland Bears Squirt A team has advanced to the State
Playoffs held in San Jose's Logitech Ice Center this year.
The Bears unbelievable 14-1 season shows the definite ability
to fare well against the competition at State. Here they will be
faced with their NorCal rival the San Jose Sharks whom they defeated in The
Nor Cal Championship game after overtime and a 5 - player shootout.
