The Spring
Showdown is a one-day event at the Oakland Ice Center for recreation level in-house
teams. It features four-on-four cross-ice
games for Under-7, Under-9 and Under-11 divisions.
Each team
will play 3 twenty minute games over the course of the day. The ice will be split into three sections
using Border Patrol padding and each game will be kept moving quickly with
the use of regulated shifts and no whistles. No goalie equipment will be used in the
Under-7 and Under-9 divisions (blocker, trapper and stick only). Every registered player will receive a
trophy at the end of the day and no score is kept during the games.
This tournament is
sanctioned by ISI Hockey. Each
player will be registered with ISI before competing. Please let us know if your team is
already covered by ISI to receive a team discount.

20 minute cross-ice games
3 games per team
$350 team fee (10 players) - $15 for each additional
player
